These scholarships are for graduating high school seniors who are current residents, native residents, and/or attending high school in the Greater Bridgeport Area in Connecticut, which consists of the following towns: Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Milford, Monroe, Shelton, Stratford, Trumbull, and Westport. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational school, trade school, technical school, or certificate program on a full-time basis. Applicants must be in good standing (cumulative 2.7 GPA or better), participate in extracurricular activities, and demonstrate financial need, good moral character, good citizenship, and a commitment to the community.
