This scholarship is for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students, and for students who are children of gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender parent(s). To qualify, applicants reside in Oregon or Southwest Washington (Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis, Pacific, Skamania, or Wahkiakum County), and have lived there for at least a year prior to submitting an application. Applicants must be accepted for enrollment or enrolled as undergraduate college students; be pursuing a degree in the academic, trade, vocational, or arts areas; demonstrate financial need; and provide evidence of the potential to successfully complete their program of study. Scholarships will be awarded based on apparent financial need, the ability to meet the eligibility guidelines, and the clarity of educational objectives.
