This scholarship is for current full-time and part-time BI-LO store teammates with at least one year of service as of January 1, 2014. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have worked an average of 15 hours per week during the required one year of service. Applicants must be pursuing a course of study applicable to the food retail industry (business management, pharmacy, transportation management, logistics, distribution management, computer science, etc.) and be interested in furthering their careers with BI-LO. Applicants must be high school seniors or already enrolled in an accredited, two- or four-year college, university, or technical school. Scholarship recipients must be employed by BI-LO at the time the awards are made. Once the award is made the employment status will have no bearing on the continuance of the scholarship. Officers and directors of BI-LO are not eligible to apply.
