This scholarship is for high school seniors in Bay, Arenac, and Tuscola Counties, Michigan, who have been accepted as full-time students at an accredited college or university. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must fall into one of the following categories: a current member of the Bay Area Young American Bowling Association (YABA); a member of the Bay Area YABA in at least two of the last four seasons; a member of their high school bowling team; or the child of a bowler sanctioned through the Bay City Men's or Women's Bowling Association. Preference will be given in the following order: current YABA members who are children of a sanctioned bowler, followed by YABA members and high school bowlers, and finally, children of sanctioned bowlers. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
