This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors enrolled in a Houston area public, charter, or alternative school (including Liberty County). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have achieved a minimum of 3.0 GPA; plan to attend a college, university, or vocational/technical school in the fall of the following school year; demonstrate a commitment to community service, volunteerism, and/or leadership; show experience with overcoming adversity such as, but not limited to poverty, disability, homelessness or abuse; and be US citizens or permanent residents.
