Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors from Saginaw, Bay, or Midland County, Michigan. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 2.0 GPA and have a parent or legal guardian who is a current member of the Saginaw NAACP Branch. Selection will be made based on leadership ability, community and/or school involvement in activities that encourage racial harmony in the Saginaw community, a special essay, recommendations, and financial need. Scholarship recipients must enroll full-time in a two- or four-year degree or vocational training program.
