This scholarship is for residents of Texas who are majoring in horticultural science, landscape design, or turf grass management. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be at the college sophomore level (24 hours) or above, have at least a 2.8 GPA, and be studying on a full-time basis for the 2014-2015 academic year at a Texas institution. (Full-time enrollment is defined as a minimum of 12 hours for an undergraduate and 9 hours for a graduate student.)
