This scholarship is for graduating seniors of a public or parochial high school who reside within the Adams-Friendship, Nekoosa, Pittsville, Port Edwards, or Wisconsin Rapids school districts. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be pursuing a career in journalism; be accepted or awaiting acceptance for full-time enrollment at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or technical college; and demonstrate excellence in writing during their high school career, preferably with work published. Applications are due March 1st and recommendations must be submitted by February 23rd.
