Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for African-American students who have graduated or are preparing to graduate from a high school in Saline County, Kansas. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have good character, a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, and have been accepted at an accredited institution of higher learning. Applicants must submit a resume or a list of community and school activities, honors and recognitions received (if any), and employment and volunteer activities. Applicants must also submit an essay that outlines why they want to pursue their education beyond high school.
