This scholarship is for dependent children of police officers or sheriff's deputies who are employed by the Fairfax County, Virginia Police Department; the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office; or the police departments in Leesburg, Middleburg, and Purcellville, Virginia. Primary attention will be given to the children of police officers who have been killed in the line of duty. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be high school seniors or currently enrolled undergraduate students attending a two- or four-year college or university. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement and community service. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent legal residents.
