Scholarship Overview
This scholarship is for high school seniors and graduates whose parents work at Silver-Line Plastics Corporation in Asheville, North Carolina; Lawton, Oklahoma; and Fort Piece, Florida. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to attend an accredited, nonprofit college, university, vocational, or technical school within the United States on a full-time basis in the fall following the award. Selection for this scholarship will be primarily based on academic achievement/potential and financial need. Moral character, community service, extracurricular activities, leadership skills, and work experience will also be considered. Preference will be given to North Carolina residents attending a school within the UNC consolidated system; to Oklahoma residents attending any public institutions operating under the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education or the Oklahoma State Board of Career and Technology Education; and to Florida residents attending a Florida State University system school.
