This scholarship is for women who returned to higher education within the past two years after a gap of at least two years. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have graduated from a high school in or have been the recipient of a GED in Ventura County, California, and must be enrolling as candidates for an undergraduate degree or certificate program at an accredited community college or four-year college or university. Applicants also must demonstrate financial need and have a 2.5 GPA. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write an essay that explains their decision to go back to school and describe what they hope to achieve with the degree or certificate. Applicants must register online by January 8th and submit an application by January 10th.
