This scholarship is for graduating seniors who live and/or attend a high school in Kalamazoo County, Michigan. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have lived and/or attended school in Kalamazoo County for 12 months prior to application. Applicants must plan to enroll full-time in a regionally accredited college or university to study business, science, mathematics, engineering, law, education, psychology, or medicine. Applicants must demonstrate good citizenship qualities, high moral character, and potential for leadership and academic success. Applicants must also be US citizens/permanent resident aliens and demonstrate financial need. While there is no minimum GPA requirement for this scholarship, most recipients have had a GPA of at least 3.0.
