This scholarship is for residents of Suffolk or Essex County, Massachusetts. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be attending or have been accepted to a licensed or accredited college or university to pursue one of the following fields of study: human services, education, recreation, therapeutic recreation, outdoor education, or environmental sciences. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Preference will be given to applications who have an affiliation of association with the East Boston, Massachusetts area and enclose a short description of this connection.
