This scholarship is for Colorado residents who are incoming freshmen at a Colorado public college or university. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must major in horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, botany, biology (as it applies to horticulture/agriculture sciences), forestry, agronomy, conservation, plant pathology, environmental concerns, environmental conservation, city planning (rural and urban), community and regional planning, habitat or forest/systems ecology, land management and/or other related or other allied subjects (approval must be granted by Colorado Garden Show, Inc. for any major other than those specifically listed). The scholarship includes tuition, fees, room and board, and all required books for four years. In addition, the recipient will be given a laptop computer and printer at the start of their freshman year.
