Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for African American high school seniors who attend high school in Saginaw County, Michigan. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must live in Saginaw County, have a 2.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and be pursuing an undergraduate degree in education. Scholarship recipients must enroll full-time, unless special circumstances dictate part-time enrollment. Special circumstances might include such things as employment, medical disability, or the demands of single parenting. Selection will be made based on demonstrated community service, financial need, scholastic record, and extracurricular activities.
