To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be receiving special educational support through an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) and demonstrate the value and morals of DREAMS. Applicants must plan to attend an accredited community college, university, vocational or trade school, or apprentice program. Applicants must address the following essay question: "What have you done in the past and what will you do in the future to help develop a responsible educated and moral society?" Applicants have the option of answering the essay question through an alternate form of communication (performance, art, speaking, etc.) if essay writing is not the preferred form of communication.
