Scholarship Overview
Outstanding graduating seniors from high schools within the City of Riverside are eligible to apply. The scholarship is open to students from all backgrounds. Qualified African American applicants may be given priority. Recipients receive a one-time scholarship award of a minimum of $1,000 to an accredited public or private institution of higher learning. The scholarship awards are outright grant awards. No services will be required as a consequence of receiving the award. Scholarship awards are for tuition, books, education fees, and living expenses. Applicants will be judged on a variety of criteria, including academic achievement, leadership in school activities, commitment to the community, character, determination and financial need.
