This scholarship is for Hispanic/Latino students who meet the following criteria: live on the Southwest side of Chicago between 16th to 79th streets and between Cicero Avenue (4800 West) and Canal (500 West); or volunteer at Pilsen Neighbors Community Council; or are a member of the Pilsen Neighbors Community Council. To qualify, applicants must be graduating high school seniors or current college students accepted or enrolled at an accredited college or university in an undergraduate degree or certificate program. Applicants must have earned a cumulative minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate financial need and community or school service. Current college students must be enrolled for a minimum of at least six semester hours or its equivalent.
