This scholarship is for residents of the following school districts in eastern Jackson County, Missouri: Blue Springs, Fort Osage, Grain Valley, Independence, Lee’s Summit, Lone Jack, Oak Grove, Raytown and that part of the Kansas City School District within the city limits of Independence and Sugar Creek. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have been admitted into a one-year certificate program or in good standing and continuing into the second year of an Associate of Applied Science degree. Applicants must show proof of enrollment and candidates entering their second year must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5.
