This program is an international fellowship for rising fourth-year minority medical students. Recipients will receive an expenses paid externship in Africa. Scholars will complete a two-month elective in Ghana or Kenya, which focuses on critical regional healthcare needs. Scholars will be chosen based on the strength of their medical school recommendations, personal statements, academic achievements, and interviews.
