This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who are accepted for undergraduate study at a four-year accredited academic institution of higher education. To qualify, applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA and have a SAT score not less than 1200 on a 2400 scale, or an ACT score not less than 18 on a 36 scale. Applicants may not be members of the immediate family or relatives of a Girl Friend; however, they must be sponsored by a local GF Chapter. Chapters are located in Brooklyn, Buffalo, Columbus, Greenville, Louisville, Miami, Minneapolis, New Haven, Orlando, Potomac, Roanoke, Seattle, and Trenton. Preference will be given to African American students.
