Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program related to video games, including programs related to video game art, design, animation, production, programming, or visual effects. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be at least 18, have a 3.0 GPA, and continue to be enrolled during the entire 2014-15 academic year, not graduating before the end of the 2015 spring term. They must also be legal residents of one of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia). To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit two original pieces of concept art based on the video games specified, along with an essay. The scholarship winner will have the opportunity to participate in a 10-week paid internship at Sony Online Entertainment headquarters in San Diego, California.
