This scholarship is for transgender identified students attending a postsecondary educational program during the next academic year. Applicants must be trans-individuals that are living full-time in a gender or sex role that differs from the one assigned to them at birth. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must reside within the South Sound region of Washington State which includes the following counties: Lewis, Mason, Thurston, Kitsap, Pierce, and south King; or if not from one of these aras, have participated in GASS programs (i.e. attended meetings, events, etc.).
