This program is for students who will graduate high school in 2014 and plan to attend an Illinois community college in the fall. To qualify, applicants must be interested in pursuing a teaching career, be legal residents of Illinois, and must have taken (not necessarily passed) the TAP test or have achieved a 22 ACT score, including the written portion of the test, prior to June 2015. Explore candidates will attend one Summer Institute in June of 2015 and receive a $2,000 stipend for participating. Upon completion of the Summer Institute, candidates will be considered for continuation in the Pathway Scholars Program. See website for additional details.
