This scholarship is for students who graduated from high schools in the Community Foundation's 11-county service area, including: Calhoun, Clarendon, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lee, Lexington, Newberry, Orangeburg, Richland, Saluda, and Sumter. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have achieved a GPA of 2.5. One scholarship will be awarded to a student who enrolls in a postgraduate seminary program at a school accredited by the Association of Theological Schools. One scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy & Religion at Claflin University. Preference will be given to African-American students and to applicants demonstrating financial need.
