This scholarship is for students in need who are enrolled or plan to enroll at an accredited four-year college or university that is associated with the United Methodist Church. Preference will be given to applicants from the City of Martinsville and the counties of Henry, Patrick, Franklin, and Pittsylvania, Virginia. Applicants may pursue any course of study; however, preference will be given to applicants studying to become a Methodist minister. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have an annual household income of no more than $80,000. A grant of up to $10,000 per year is typically awarded.
