This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors in Saginaw County, Michigan, who attended Handley School in Saginaw as children. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 3.3 GPA and must have attended Handley School for at least five years. Applicants must show concern for others through involvement in community volunteer service and enroll full-time in an undergraduate degree program. Scholarship recipients are expected to return to Handley and share some aspect of their high school career and/or their experience at Handley School with either a grade level or an individual classroom. Selection will be based on scholastic record, overall involvement in community volunteer activities, career goals as defined in an essay, and leadership/extracurricular activities.
