This scholarship is for graduating seniors from a high school in the 26-county area of Northwest Kansas, which includes the counties of Cheyenne, Cloud, Decatur, Ellis, Ellsworth, Gove, Graham, Jewell, Lincoln, Logan, Mitchell, Norton, Osborne, Ottawa, Phillips, Rawlins, Republic, Rooks, Russell, Saline, Sheridan, Sherman, Smith, Thomas, Trego, and Wallace. To qualify, applicants must be pursuing the Board of Regents recommended curriculum with a record of services and extracurricular activities. Applicants must have an ACT score of 21 or higher and at least a 3.5 GPA. Recipients must attend an accredited four-year public, private, or church-related college or university in Kansas on a full-time basis.
