These scholarships are for current undergraduate students in Illinois, who are studying engineering. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must be college juniors or seniors attending an Illinois university; they must also be enrolled in an engineering program accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET). Applicants must have a "B" average or better in courses accredited toward the engineering degree and demonstrate financial need. Students enrolled in an engineering technology program are not eligible. The scholarship committee will select a recipient for the ISPE/M.E. Amstutz Memorial Award Scholarship ($1,500). Remaining applicants will be considered for the ISPE Advantage Award/Foundation Scholarship ($1,000).
