This scholarship is for residents of Berkeley County, West Virginia, who have been accepted by and planning to attend an accredited law school within 18 months after completing a four-year degree. Preference will be given to recipients who hope to return to Berkeley County to practice law within at least three years after graduation from law school. Consideration will be given to financial need, academic preparation, and service to the community. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write a 500- to 900-word essay on their five-year plan.
