Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for residents of Northern California who were born in Jamaica or descended from at least one Jamaican parent. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have lived in Northern California for at least two years and be US residents. Applicants must be part- or full-time students enrolled at an accredited undergraduate school anywhere in the United States with a GPA of at least 2.75. Applicants in accredited graduate programs in Northern California are also welcomed. Preference will be given to members of JAANC or relatives of JAANC members. Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need for tuition, books, and/or living expenses.
