This scholarship is for seniors from high schools in Stark County, Ohio, who will graduate with their class in May/June. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have been accepted as full-time students in Stark State College of Technology Engineering Program for a two-year degree program that will transfer to a four-year degree program at another university at the discretion of the student. Alternatively, applicants may also have been accepted as full-time students into the engineering program at any university or college in the state of Ohio. Applicants must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA; have demonstrated outstanding involvement either in academics, extracurricular activities, or community activities; and be recommended by at least two math, science, or engineering teachers. A personal interview may be required. Non-traditional students furthering their education after entering the workforce will be considered secondarily.
