This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors, homeschooled students, and GED recipients in Nebraska. To qualify, applicants must be involved in martial arts; be enrolled full-time in undergraduate study at an accredited, tax-exempt school or institution of higher learning in pursuit of a degree or certificate; and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or greater during the first semester of higher education and enroll in a second semester. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit a one-page essay on "Why I believe I deserve this scholarship." Applicants must also include two statements of character: one to be completed on a form by the applicant's martial arts instructor and a letter from someone outside of the applicant's martial arts outside the applicant's martial arts school administration and/or staff.
