This scholarship is for graduating seniors in the greater Homer area, the lower Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, from Ninilchik south, including the communities across Kachemak Bay. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have maintained a 3.0 GPA or higher throughout their public high school career; demonstrate at least 1,000 hours of gainful employment while attending high school, either during the school year or during the summer; and demonstrate active involvement in extracurricular activities or community service.
