This scholarship is for graduates of Powder Valley High School in North Powder Valley, Oregon, and of all the high schools located in Baker County, Oregon, who at the time of their graduation lived in Baker County or attended Powder Valley high schools. Students who have earned a GED in Baker County are also eligible. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 2.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and exhibit good moral character, good citizenship, and respect for the law. Selection for this scholarship will be based on scholastic record, financial need, moral character, reputation for honesty and integrity, firmness of intention to complete an education, and ability to use time productively in and out of school. Scholarship recipients must enroll full-time at an accredited college, university, trade, or technical school.
