These scholarships are for students who are visually impaired (i.e., have a severe reduction in vision that cannot be corrected with standard glasses or contact lenses). To qualify, applicants must be US citizens and attend an accredited college or university in one of the 50 states, District of Columbia, or a US territory. Scholarships are awarded based on academic and personal achievements; therefore, candidates are not required to demonstrate financial need.
