This scholarship is for graduating seniors and past graduates of Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Ohio. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have permanent residency in Carroll County, or have had permanent residency on the date they began their post high school education; residents of Fox Township or East township will be given priority. Applicants must have been accepted at or be currently enrolled at an accredited college, university, or technical school to pursue further education in any program or field of study. Applicants must epitomize the following personal traits: academic merit as demonstrated by above average accomplishment in high school as measured by grade point average and test scores; determination and desire to succeed as demonstrated by brief biographical essay and references from teacher(s), school administrators, pastors, or others; participation in extracurricular school and civic activities; good moral and personal characteristics, including integrity and an interest in their communities; and demonstrate the requisite financial need.
