This scholarship is for African American/Black graduating seniors from Louisiana high schools. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be residents of Louisiana, accepted to a Louisiana four-year college or university as full-time students, have a minimum "B" average, and have a minimum ACT score of 21. Applicants must demonstrate financial need based on expected family contribution, academic achievement, motivation, flexibility, maturity, leadership, communication skills, and the ability to balance numerous priorities. The program provides a full-tuition scholarship, yearly stipend for books and supplies, and support networks.
