This scholarship is for African-Americans, American Indians/Alaskan Natives, Asian Pacific Islander Americans, and Hispanic Americans who are attending a four-year college or university. Winners will be awarded scholarships of up to $15,000 and may be invited to participate in a summer 2014 internship. Marathon Oil Corporation will provide $2,500 for those interns who do not live near internship sites. Sophomores must be majoring in Engineering and seniors/graduate students must be majoring in environmental science(s), geology, and geophysics. Applicants must also have a 3.0 GPA.
