This scholarship is for graduating seniors at Stevens Point Area Senior High in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, who have four years of study in any one foreign language from middle and/or high school. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a minimum 3.3 GPA, have a continuing interest in foreign language, and be attending an institute of higher education. Preference may be given to students with a background or interest in new global languages, such as Chinese or Arabic. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must submit a three-page essay (1500-word maximum) that relates the value of foreign language to the student and society.
