Scholarship Overview

These scholarships are for current members of NAHJ for the 2014 calendar year. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students pursuing careers in journalism in English- or Spanish-language media, or both. The scholarships have varying requirements and are open to students attending four-year and community colleges in the United States and Puerto Rico. Those who are not members may join; the annual dues are currently $35. Scholarships are awarded based on commitment to the field of journalism, academic achievement, financial need, and awareness of the community.
