This scholarship is for high school seniors in rice-growing counties in Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas. To enter, students must conduct a promotion activity for US-grown rice in September. The type and duration of the promotion activity is up to the individual student as long as it is conducted in the month of September. Entries will be judged on creativity and impact in promoting US-grown rice, National Rice Month, and the importance of rice to the student's state.
