Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for 2012-2013 college/university students who graduated high school in prior years and are now enrolled in a Nebraska college or university leading to a career in print journalism. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must enroll full-time. Preference will be given to students with a specific interest in news, editorial, photography, circulation, production, or advertising careers on weekly, semi-weekly, or daily newspapers. Scholarships will be awarded based on scholastic ability and good citizenship in school and the community. Scholarship recipients must use and enroll no later than the start of the third semester after the awarding of the scholarship.
