This scholarship is for residents of North Carolina, who have active amateur radio licenses. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must plan to enroll at an accredited two- or four-year college or university and pursue a technical field of study. Preference will be given to amateur radio operators that incorporate amateur radio into outdoor activities.
