This scholarship is to recognize achievement and reward Massachusetts students who have graduated from high school within three years with a 3.75 GPA and highly competitive SAT scores (or ACT equivalent) and who also meet the one year residency requirement for tuition classification at the State Colleges. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be permanent residents of Massachusetts for at least one year prior to the opening of the academic year, be in compliance with applicable Selective Service Registration Laws, not be in default of any federal or state loan or owe a refund on any previously received financial aid, and be US citizens or eligible non-citizens. Applicants must attend one of the nine Massachusetts State Colleges. Eligible students receive a waiver of tuition and mandatory fees.
