Scholarship Overview

This scholarship is for students with at least one parent or legal guardian who is a current member of the Connecticut Education Association, or is a currently employed CEA staff member (active, retired, or reserved). To qualify, applicants must be full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled in a college or university, have completed at least three full semesters within the last two years, and intend to enter the teaching profession. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, interest in teaching as a career, leadership roles, community activities, volunteer experience, written expression, references, and financial need.
