This grant program is for dancers with at least three years of choreographic experience; within these three years, a maximum of two years may include dances created for college, university, and workshop setting. A minimum of one year must include work created for professional dance companies. Applicants must be nominated by the Artistic Director of a non-profit dance company or the Director of a non-profit dance organization/festival housing residencies for emerging choreographers within the United States. No more than three works may have been created on the nominating company/organization. To apply, applicants must create an original work for public concert performance(s) that will be presented by the nominating organization during the grant period.
