This scholarship is for qualifying seniors at Project GRAD affiliated high schools within the Houston Independent School District in Texas: Jefferson Davis; Jack Yates; Phillis Wheatley; John H. Reagan; and Sam Houston Math, Science, Technology Center. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must complete two Project GRAD Houston-sponsored college institutes. An equivalent program may be substituted with the approval of the Project GRAD Houston Scholarship Director. Applicants must take the SAT as a sophomore or junior; complete all of the Houston ISD academic requirements for graduation and the Texas High School Recommended or Distinguished Graduation Plan; and graduate from a Project GRAD Houston affiliated high school with a 2.5 overall GPA within four years of initial enrollment.
