This scholarship is for residents of Kern, Kings, Fresno, or Tulare Counties in California. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be farmworkers, be dependents of a farmworker, or have received a service from Proteus within the last two years. Applicants must plan to enroll full-time for the 2014-2015 school year at a two- or four-year college or an accredited postsecondary institution. Applicants' family must be low income (see application for specific HHS Poverty Guidelines). Scholarships are awarded based on the scholarship application, personal statement, letters of reference (must provide two or more), and an interview with the selection committee.
